Seljalandsfoss Horizons in Hvolsvollur is my go-to place. They found my lost necklace once. With Wi-Fi, car park, TV, kettle and utensils, it suits me perfectly. , hiking and picnic areas are great. No smoking/pets. I keep coming back for city trips.

Our stay at Seljalandsfoss Horizons was absolutely amazing. The individual units were incredibly nice, complete with bathrooms and kitchens. We loved the convenience of having everything we needed for a self-catered lodge. The location on the south side of Iceland was also perfect, allowing us to easily explore the stunning waterfalls and enjoy the romantic atmosphere. Despite being small inside, the lodges were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

The only drawbacks we found were minor issues. It would have been helpful to have more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, and the limited number of coat hangers in the cupboard was a bit inconvenient.

Beautiful cabins, inside and out. Fully equipped with modern amenities. Perfect location for visiting nearby Seljalandsfoss. Short drive to Vik and the black sand beach or the golden circle. Clean accommodations.

The cabin had stunning mountain views from the terrace, which made me feel like I was in the Icelandic version of "The Sound of Music." The well-fitted kitchenette was like a mini food laboratory where I could whip up culinary masterpieces. The sun terrace was the best spot for soaking up the rays and feeling like a lizard basking in the glory of the Icelandic sunshine. Hiking nearby was like embarking on a treasure hunt, where every step revealed a hidden gem of nature's beauty. The Smart TV with Netflix was my personal entertainment genie, granting me access to endless hours of binge-watching pleasure.

The obstructed view from the row of trees was like watching a 3D movie with smudged glasses.

loved the location and charm of the villas in hvolsvollur. clean and had what we needed. saw the northern lights – not the best but still exciting. would definitely come back for a longer stay.

Heating was a bit off and had to figure out the thermostat. slightly improved but not toasty.

Serene location, convenient for travel, comfortable cabin with great amenities, beautiful waterfalls nearby, highly recommend.

Lock was a bit stiff.

I absolutely adored the charming and cozy cabins at this lovely lodge. The decoration was tastefully done, with warm and inviting colors. The general areas were beautifully maintained and had a comfortable and homely feel. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel, with wide hallways and well-lit pathways.

I would have loved if the children working there could have been more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

We stayed at Seljalandsfoss Horizons Villa for our elopement and it was absolutely picturesque and perfect. The cottage was beautifully clean and the location was amazing, with easy access to Vik, Dyrhólaey, Sólheimajökull glacier, Skogafoss. The staff was outstanding and always easy to reach, especially when we needed assistance with a lost item. We can't wait to return to Iceland and without a doubt, we'll stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Seljalandsfoss Horizons Villa. The interior of the cottage was cute, clean, and well-polished, creating a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was larger and better equipped than I had imagined from the pictures. The location of the property was ideal for exploring the breathtaking Seljalandsfoss waterfall and other nearby attractions.

The living room furniture wasn't very comfortable for lounging and relaxing. Some minor issues like non-working mini candles and flickering lights were also noticed.

As avid bike riders, we were thrilled with the bike rental service available at Seljalandsfoss Horizons. It made exploring the picturesque surroundings and nearby Seljandsfoss waterfall incredibly convenient and enjoyable.

There was nothing to complain about, as the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

Mountain Views: From the moment I stepped onto the terrace, I was greeted by stunning mountain views that took my breath away. It felt like being surrounded by majestic giants, reminding me of a scene straight out of a fantasy movie.
